Data corrections & change history
When a number on this site turns out to be wrong, it gets fixed and recorded here — date, what was wrong, and what changed. Automated collection also breaks sometimes; outages that affected published data are listed too. Entries below are drawn from the project's actual commit history. CorrectionGundam Card Game “Eternal Nexus EB01” boxes (9 sales, ~$100–140) had entered the EB-01 sold ledger because the two games share the EB01 code. They pulled the English EB-01 sold median from about $900 to $140 on the set page, its meta description, the CSV and the AI files. Moved to the ledger’s excluded list (never deleted); the ingest now rejects other-game titles and the build guard fails if any remain. English EB-01 restored to $901.
CorrectionThe home summary table, the 4-week ticker and box-prices.html showed every set’s last sold price under one page date, although four sets had not sold in 4–11 weeks. Every row and chip now carries its own last-sale date and weekly sample size; sets with no sale in 28 days are dimmed and their 4-week change is left blank. The home FAQ said the 4-week figures were “since tracking began” — corrected.
CorrectionCard pages computed “worth Nx a sealed box” against a third-party weekly series that stopped in July, so the same box showed $148 on a card page and $129 on its set page. Card pages now use the same eBay sold median as the set page, dated, and omit the multiple when the last sale is older than 28 days. PSA 10 sold medians older than 35 days no longer produce a “premium” sentence on card pages and are dated on set pages; price-history checkpoints convert at each date’s exchange rate.
CorrectionBox charts: the monthly tab hatched the whole current month as “no sales” because monthly points are dated to the 1st; the gap is now measured from the real last sale. The change badge compared the last point with the first visible point and flipped sign between tabs; it now uses one basis (vs 28 days earlier, the same as the ticker). The listings-on-sale panel drew JP and EN in the same grey; each edition now keeps its colour.
CopyExclusion filter disclosed next to the numbers: asking-price figures count only sellers that passed verification (China/Hong Kong sellers excluded for reseal and counterfeit risk — 348 of 709 collected box listings on 2026-09-23). The excluded floor price is shown without a link. Methodology gained an “exclusions” section with the criteria and the public blocklist.
CorrectionPSA 10 sold medians up to 85 days old were presented as updated today on 18 cards; they now carry their observation month and are dimmed after 35 days, and no premium multiple is computed from them. Unsealed, resealed and pack-missing boxes were reaching the “cheapest listing” slot on the home deals; excluded.
CorrectionThree per-card grading populations were missing from the collector output and were backfilled; Korean pages had a KRW conversion error, corrected.
OutageThe daily eBay listings pipeline had been silently stopped for 3 days (a set with zero qualifying listings was mistakenly treated as a fatal error). Fixed, and the missed collection was re-run the same day. Listing-based figures dated 2026-08-24 to 2026-08-26 were delayed, not wrong.
CorrectionFour card-data errors corrected across the grading collectors, and TAG name validation was loosened where it had been wrongly rejecting valid matches (tracked TAG cards went from 185 to 196).
OutageThe market-data workflow file had a formatting error that stopped automated runs. Repaired, and a workflow audit was added so the same failure cannot pass unnoticed again.
CorrectionThree grading-population misattributions were found and corrected (cards credited to the wrong set or variant). An independent attribution audit now re-verifies every card against the grader's own label on each run.
CorrectionThe auction page was publishing the current day's still-open auctions as if they were final results. Now only completed days are published.
CorrectionThree CGC cards were missing from collection due to a blind spot in the collector. Backfilled.
CorrectionThe exchange rate used for currency conversion had been frozen for 47 days. Corrected, and the Monday grading collection that had stalled was restored.
CopyRemoved a causal overclaim from set panels: grading counts measure grading submissions, not box openings. The site no longer implies one proves the other.
PolicyAffiliate disclosure moved above the fold on every page with eBay links, following an eBay Partner Network compliance notice.
CorrectionPRB-01 Nami was showing OP-01's manga art instead of THE BEST's, and OP-09 Gol D. Roger carried a wrong card number (caught via a CGC population screenshot). Both fixed.
CorrectionA wrong date label appeared on every set's weekly grader-change figure. Fixed, and the underlying numbers were re-audited.
CorrectionFive card prices were wrong due to variant mix-ups in matching (a different printing's price was being picked up). Corrected, with new guards to block recurrence. Separately, CGC collection had been missing 9 of 43 list pages due to a pagination bug — backfilled.
CorrectionEmpty English-edition cells had been labeled "unreleased" even where the English printing exists. Blank now means "no data", never a claim about the product.
