PSA Population
One Piece PSA population by set
How many cards from each booster set have been submitted to PSA, kept separate for the Japanese and English printings. Weekly additions are an indirect collector-activity signal, not a count of boxes opened in that week: submitted cards may come from recent pulls or older raw holdings. Cumulative totals are as of 2026-09-05; the weekly change compares 2026-09-02 against 2026-08-26.

How to read this
Total graded is every card from that set sitting in a PSA holder, at any grade — not one specific card. Gem is the share that came back PSA 10. Week is how many new grades appeared between 2026-08-26 and 2026-09-02, and % is that change against the earlier total. The line under each weekly figure is the last 12 weeks of that set’s own additions — it shows direction, not size.
We never add the two editions together. Japanese and English are separate print runs with different card stock and different print quality, so a combined gem rate would describe neither. 3 sets have no English row at all — those printings have not been released, which is different from zero cards graded.
A high weekly number is not automatically bullish and does not prove that the cards were pulled that week. It does show more graded copies entering the recorded population. Read it next to release timing and the box price on each set guide, and against completed sales on the PSA 10 value ranking.
Population figures are compiled from public PSA population reporting. We publish weekly change only from the point we began recording it ourselves; we do not republish historical series compiled by others.
The same cards, judged by three graders
We track per-card population at PSA, CGC and TAG separately. These are the 101 cards where all three have graded at least 20 copies, so a top-grade share is worth stating for each. Population as of 2026-09-04.

Each grader's top grade means something different. PSA has a single 10. CGC splits its top into Pristine 10 and Gem Mint 10, and we count both. TAG has 10 and a stricter 10P above it, and we count both. A share is therefore comparable only as "how often the highest available grade was awarded", not as a like-for-like quality score.
This does not prove one grader is stricter. These are different physical copies, and submitters choose where to send a card — a collector who expects a gem may favour one company, which moves the recorded share without anyone grading differently. PSA populations are also far larger, so its share rests on a much heavier sample than CGC's or TAG's. What the table shows is that the recorded outcomes differ by grader, which is worth knowing before reading any single company's population as the market's quality level.
What the population data shows right now
OP-13 Carrying on His Will carries the largest graded population of any tracked set — 49,709 Japanese cards in PSA holders, plus 90,957 English. This is submission volume, not a release-date or sealed-print-run estimate. A large base can reflect collector demand, opening volume, cards held raw before submission, or a mix of all three.
The largest Japanese percentage increase this week is OP-16 at +62.09% (+1,846 cards), followed by OP-15 at +14.16%. Percentage growth is sensitive to the starting population, so compare the raw additions and the percentage instead of ranking sets by either figure alone.
Gem rates are not uniform. Among Japanese printings, OP-06 currently gems at 93.8% while OP-11 sits at 83.5%. The difference can reflect print quality, the cards collectors choose to submit, and sample size. It does not by itself prove that one print run is better.
For 8 sets (OP-13, OP-11, OP-06, OP-12, OP-08, PRB-02, OP-10, EB-02) the English graded population is actually larger than the Japanese one — a reminder that the two markets have different collector bases, and another reason we never merge the columns.
PSA is one of three graders we track. CGC and TAG populations — including CGC's split between Pristine 10 and Gem Mint 10, and TAG's 10 versus 10P — are shown per set on each set guide, always kept separate from PSA because the standards do not map onto each other.
PSA population — common questions
Which One Piece set has the most PSA-graded cards?
OP-13 Carrying on His Will, with 49,709 Japanese cards graded and 90,957 English as of 2026-09-05. See the table above for every tracked set.
Why does grading volume matter for sealed box prices?
Weekly population growth records newly posted grades, but those cards may come from recent openings or previously held raw copies. We treat it as an indirect collector-activity signal and read it with release timing, box listings and sold data.
Why don't you add Japanese and English together?
They are different print runs with different card stock, pull rates and buyers. A combined total, or worse a combined gem rate, would describe neither market. Every figure on this site is labelled by printing.
Where does this data come from?
Public PSA population reporting, collected by us weekly and appended to a ledger we never rewrite. Weekly change is only shown for the period we recorded ourselves — we do not backfill history we did not observe.
