One Piece booster box price guide
Research and data: OP Box Index · Published · Updated · Data sources & methodology
One Piece booster box prices are not just a single number. A useful price view separates sold comps, active listings, language version, chase-card value and seller risk. OP Box Index uses those signals to help collectors compare sealed boxes before they click a marketplace link.
Sold prices matter more than active listings
Active listings show what sellers want. Sold prices show what buyers actually accepted. When active listings are far above recent sold prices, the market may be thin, the seller may be testing a high ask, or the specific item may have a condition or location advantage.
For sealed boxes, a high active listing can still be useful if supply is scarce. But it should not be treated as the whole market. A better read compares low, middle and high listing bands against recent sold history.
Language version changes the buyer base
Japanese One Piece booster boxes often move differently from English boxes. Japanese boxes can attract original-language collectors and overseas buyers looking for earlier releases. English boxes can have broader United States and European liquidity. The same set can therefore have two separate markets.
What boxes actually sell for right now
These are median completed eBay sales we collected and variant-verified per set (sealed booster boxes only — lots, cases and pack bundles excluded, multi-box listings divided to a per-box price). This is the table we wish existed when we started buying boxes, so we built it.

| EB-02 Anime 25th Collection | $135 | $803 | 5.9× |
| EB-03 Heroine's Edition | $115 | $326 | 2.8× |
| PRB-01 Premium Booster | $150 | $915 | 6.1× |
| PRB-02 Premium Booster | $99 | $357 | 3.6× |
Two patterns come out of this table. First, every English box with a recent sale trades above its Japanese counterpart — the premium runs from 2.4× on OP-16 up to 6.1× on PRB-01. The premium is smallest on sets still in print and widens as English stock dries up. Second, the Japanese side is cheaper and flatter than most buyers expect: of the 19 sets with a Japanese sale in the last 28 days, 16 sit at $150 or below, and the whole range is $79 to $300. Sets with no completed sale in that window are left blank rather than carried forward.
Sample depth matters when you read this table. English medians rest on 9–331 sales per set in the latest week. No Japanese median in this table rests on fewer than 6 sales. Every figure here is a median of completed sales, not an asking price.
Chase cards create the ceiling
The strongest sealed boxes usually have chase cards that buyers still care about after release hype fades. Manga rares, leader parallels, special rares and character-driven cards can support sealed demand when their raw NM prices and PSA 10 prices stay firm.
This is why OP Box Index pairs each box with its Top 10 chase cards. A box with weak chase-card demand can look cheap but still be difficult to resell.
Supply risk is not visible in price alone
Reprints, new warehouse supply, regional restocks and seller inventory can all pressure a box even when the chart looks strong. Tight supply is more convincing when active listings are low, sold comps are recent and the price spread between low and high listings is not extreme.
Checklist before buying
- Confirm the set code and language version.
- Check whether the listing is a sealed booster box, not loose packs.
- Compare active price against recent sold comps.
- Review seller feedback, photos, shrink wrap and return policy.
- Account for shipping, tax, customs and currency conversion.
