What is confirmed and what is not

Confirmed by the Amazon Japan listing: the set code OP-18, the Japanese title 神の支配, the box format of 24 packs, and that Amazon is taking invite requests. Not confirmed anywhere official: the release date, the card list, the number of card types, the English name, and the English release. Bandai normally publishes these on its product page before release; that page did not exist on September 14, 2026.

OP Box Index does not estimate a date from past gaps. For reference only, the last two Japanese main-set releases were OP-16 on May 30, 2026 and OP-17 on August 22, 2026, an 84-day gap. That is a fact about the past, not a forecast for OP-18.

How the Amazon Japan invite works for OP-18

The OP-18 box is listed under Amazon's invite-based sale: you press the invite-request button on the product page, and Amazon later emails invitations to a subset of requesters. An open invite request is not proof that the product ships on a given day. Amazon opens requests ahead of Bandai's page in some cycles; the box ships only after Bandai releases the set.

What OP-17's launch showed

OP-17 The World's Strongest Warriors released in Japan on August 22, 2026 and in English on August 28, 2026, the closest to a simultaneous global release the game has had. Its sealed Japanese box has been tracked from the first completed eBay sale, and that page shows the launch-week price path with sample counts.

One launch is one data point. Print volume, distribution, reprints and the card list all differ between sets, so OP-17's price path is context, not evidence of what OP-18 will do.

Evidence required before a sealed-box valuation

A useful OP-18 valuation needs the official Japanese specification, the confirmed card list and treatments, language-matched completed sales with transaction counts, and a clear seal standard. Active listings show seller expectations and are not substituted for sales. Single-card prices do not translate into sealed-box value until pull rates and hit distribution are known.

Reprint information is reported only when Bandai, distributors, or dated market supply records support it. Absence of a reprint notice is not described as proof that no reprint will occur.

Update policy
